Pathomics is a pathology innovation platform built by clinicians for R&D collaborators - connecting real-world patient populations with clinical-grade test results, medical records, and bio-samples. The goal was to translate a complex multi-partner offering into a digital experience that feels clear, credible, and easy to explore.
The Challenge
The value of Pathomics is enormous, but it’s also inherently complex: three partners contribute different datasets and capabilities, and the offering spans everything from high-definition pathology imaging to standardized medical coding and end-to-end patient journeys. Without a tight narrative and structure, users can’t quickly understand “what this is”, “why it matters”, and “how to start”.
So the challenge wasn’t “make it pretty” - it was building a clear story that makes scientific depth feel accessible, while establishing trust early for research and innovation decision makers.
Research & benchmarking
To ground the strategy, I benchmarked both local and global players in adjacent spaces - biobanks, genomics initiatives, and healthcare research platforms - looking at what they emphasize publicly (scale, credibility, access) and how they communicate it across touchpoints.

I also analyzed content and marketing patterns from leading references. The consistent signal was that scientific audiences respond best when complex value is broken into scannable “proof blocks”: clear numbers, clear terminology, and simple “how it works” explanations - reinforced with trust signals and repeatable formats across channels.

Information Architecture
The IA reduces cognitive load through a predictable journey: narrative + proof on Home, context on About/Partners, clarity on Services/FAQ, and a frictionless conversion path via Contact. Pages are intentionally minimal and purpose-driven to keep complex value easy to grasp.

Wireframes
Wireframes helped validate hierarchy, content density, and CTA placement - especially around credibility and capability sections, so the final UI stays clean, readable, and conversion-oriented.

UI direction
The visual system balances clinical trust with innovation: confident blues paired with a pathology-sample pink accent, energetic highlights, high-contrast typography, and generous whitespace that supports long-form scientific content without fatigue. The UI relies on consistent modular sections and reusable components, so every page feels coherent.

Marketing Collateral
To ensure consistency beyond the website, I designed a collateral suite that reuses the same story and proof points in formats that stakeholders actually need.
One-Pager
A fast, stakeholder-ready summary that communicates the platform, credibility “numbers”, and capabilities in a scannable layout.

Pitch Deck
A narrative deck designed to present Pathomics clearly in meetings, aligning teams around the promise, USPs, and “why us”.

Social Creatives
A campaign set that turns complex capabilities into short, clear messages - built for awareness and education across social channels.
